Press Release: COOK COUNTY COMMISSIONER DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE DRAKE WARREN ENDORSES PATRICK GILSENAN FOR 32ND WARD ALDERPERSON
CHICAGO, IL — Today, Drake Warren, the Democratic Nominee for 10th District Cook County Commissioner, officially announced his endorsement of Patrick Gilsenan for 32nd Ward Alderperson. The endorsement highlights Gilsenan’s commitment to housing affordability, progressive policy, and responsive neighborhood governance.
“Patrick understands that we can’t have a thriving, inclusive city without making sure people can afford to live here,” said Drake Warren. “He’s a strong advocate for housing affordability and making government work better for working people. Patrick brings an independent, progressive voice to the table and a willingness to challenge the status quo that will make him a great Alderperson of the 32nd Ward, and I look forward to working with him.”
Warren’s endorsement adds significant momentum to Gilsenan’s campaign, which centers on expanding opportunity and creating a more livable, equitable Chicago.
“Drake Warren is a strong advocate for progressive policies that expand opportunity and make Chicago more affordable and livable,” said Patrick Gilsenan. “His work on housing and his commitment to building a city where more people can afford to live, work, and raise a family have informed my own approach to housing. I’m proud to have his support and look forward to working with him to build a more affordable, inclusive, and forward-looking 32nd Ward.”
Drake Warren joins a growing coalition of community leaders, policy advocates, and civic organizations backing Gilsenan’s vision for the 32nd Ward, including key endorsements from Abundant Housing Illinois and the 19th Police District Councilors, who all agree it is time for transformative, progressive change in the ward.
